I’m Naomi, otherwise known as Nay, Nome, Nomie, Nomes.

I’m a mum, wife, daughter, friend, teacher of little folk, shopper. I try my best to juggle the work – life – balance thing… some days I do it better than others.  I live with Hubby, 2 kids, 1 neurotic cat, and 1 dog with too much energy in the beautiful hills just out of Melbourne.  Hubby works full time from home, in his office (AKA the doof doof cupboard) I work part time away from home.

I have this theory that there needs to be more honesty about being a mum and about being a woman in general… about the good, the bad, and the down right ugly – and that perhaps if there was some more honesty there might be a bit less of the need to uphold the veneer.

Oh… and one other thing.  You can be guaranteed that at the end of every day, whether I’ve battled the traffic, my hair, or getting the kids to school on time (you know, as the bell goes… that’s on time) I’m asking that age old question… is it wine o’clock yet?

Forgot the glasses when picnicing? Got it covered. I have many skills... pouring wine into plastic bottles just one of them.
